Meet Tiffany, founder of Happy Cat Cottage

Hi, I’m Tiffany, founder of HappyCatCottage.com and inventor of the Cat Cottage. Several years ago, I moved into a house in Northridge, California with my daughter and our two cats, Professor Sesame and Maple. Due to health concerns about being pregnant and having small children around litter boxes—not to mention the coyotes in our area—my cats stay indoors. The problem was that so did the smell and mess from their litter box.

 

So I figured out a way to keep my indoor cats inside while putting the litter box outside. After a quick meeting with a contractor friend, my house was equipped with the first ever Cat Cottage. My cats were safe and happy, and I was thrilled!

 

It didn’t take long before friends and neighbors started asking about “the little cottage” connected to my house. When I explained how it allowed me to keep my cats safe inside while keeping the litter box outdoors, they all asked how they could get one.

 

And that was it. I was in business. My goal is to help cat owners eliminate the one big headache to owning indoor cats—the smell and mess of a litter box. Cat Cottages are designed and built in the U.S. using the best materials I can find.
